Fall Noon Concert Series

Thursdays in the Sanctuary

Please feel free to bring your brown bag lunch. Drinks and cookies will be provided.
For information about the concert series click here.

Saturday, November 14,
from 9am-4pm,

is purposely designed with the past in mind so that our members could put their talents on display and share these with the community.

It's been 25 years since FUMC has undertaken a bazaar. “The bazaar is an intentional day-long gathering so that people can take their time, fellowship with one another, and come together in a way that has not been attempted in many years.”

The bazaar will feature seven merchandise categories and a Café, with a large number of the items created by hand by FUMC members. We have carefully considered what we could offer for sale to the public based on the wonderful skills of our arts and crafts people and our expert bakers and cooks.

Church Family Dinner
November 18th at 5:30pm in Fellowship Hall.
This is a time to share in food, fun and fellowship. There is nothing to bring but your appetite and the desire to share a meal with your Church family.
There will be no Church Family Dinner in December. Please join us on Sunday, December 13th for the Annual Holiday Program and Dinner starting at 4:00 pm.

Advent Study
We will be holding a five week small-group study during Advent based on the book entitled The Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations by Bishop Robert Schnase. During the five weeks we will explore the practices of Radical Hospitality, Passionate Worship, Intentional Faith Development, Risk-taking Mission and Service, and Extravagant Generosity within our church. This is an insightful study that will help us to understand our purpose and mission as disciples of Christ in the world. You can find out more about the Five Practices at http://fivepractices.org

In order to complete five sessions before Christmas,
we will begin on Sunday, Nov 22,
the week before the first Sunday of Advent.
