Justice & Social Concerns Ministries
"You must not distort justice; you must not show partiality; and you must not accept bribes, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and sub-verts the cause of those who are in the right." Deuteronomy 16:19
The “Justice and Social Concerns Ministry” committee has the mission to bring forward issues regarding justice and social concerns to the congregation. We do this through programs that educate and hopefully lead us all to take action of some kind. The chairperson is Sandra Schlosser and we meet every second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM. Anyone interested is welcome to attend our meetings.
A number of programs have been scheduled or in the process of being scheduled.

Let's Reduce Our Carbon Footprint!
There has been much talk in the past year about the effects of energy consumption on the world's climate. The Justice and Social Concerns Committee is putting together a plan for members of our church to reduce energy consumption, save money and be better stewards of our environment. Check your bulletin Sunday, March 30 for an insert loaded with suggestions. Also, a poster will be placed in the back of the sanctuary where people can anonymously track their household progress. This will be a fun way to see how our church family is making a difference over the course of this year. At the end of the year, we will compile the results and celebrate our accomplishments.
