SHY* Group from Connecticut - June 2005

Fourteen teens and three adult leaders from Bethel, CT accomplished a lot of work in just four days in Vermont in spite of the hot, late June weather.

They slept in the chapel and Reid Booth room on cots purchased with the help of our Trustees. Meals were prepared at the church and showers were taken at the YMCA
The work project was in Huntington on a house where a number of church people had previously built a new room and bath for a handicapped woman.

The entire house received two coats of paint. The garage roof was shingled. A 6 by 6 foot deck was constructed on the back of the house and a larger front deck was dismantled and rebuilt with new lumber. The volunteers put in about 410 person hours of work!
